"A man's steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand his own way?" - Proverbs 20:24
We don't need to understand. We only need to believe what God has made plain through His Son, namely, Almighty God is for us.
To say that Almighty God is for us is to say that God is good. All the time, God is good.

God is good, directing our steps, leading us to doors and windows of blessing. Sure, we can do what we want. But what God wants is always better. And we know this through the undeserved initiative of God to create us and daily provide for us and through the sin-forgiving cross and the life-giving resurrection of God's Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And then God tops it all off by sending us Holy Spirit who is our calm and counsel, our guide and our strength to live the New Life of following Jesus into Abundant Life, both now and forever, along with the unmatched joy of inviting others to know these same incomparable treasures with our God...who is good...all the time!
