Day of Praise

Galatians 5:1 - "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free."

A few thoughts.

Thank you, Father God, for looking on us and our slavery to sin with pity, mercy, and grace and then sending your Son to pay for our sin and open the Way to eternal life!

Thank you, Jesus, for setting us free from the power of sin and death and for pouring out the promised Holy Spirit!

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for guiding us and empowering us in the use of our freedom in Christ so that glory is brought to the Father and blessing is brought to all people!

Thank you, Veterans, for your willingness to pay the ultimate price of your life in order to preserve the freedoms which we have in writing but we only actually have in living because of your service to our country. I see Jesus through you!

And thank you, families of the Gold Star Salute, who have tasted the sorrow of losing a loved one in service to our country and our freedoms. I see Jesus and his saving work through your family.

Happy Birthday, America!

Thank a Veteran today! And everyday!

And thank God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, today! And everyday!
