Greetings! I pray y'all can come to worship today, Wednesday, March 11, if you're in town, at our congregation, Christ the King Lutheran Church, at 11:45 a.m. (followed by 12:15 lunch) or 6:30 p.m. (preceded by 5:15 dinner) at 611 Riverchase Parkway West, Hoover, AL 35244. My wife, Amanda, (who also preached for me impromptu this past Sunday when I woke up sick) is the regularly scheduled Lenten Speaker for today on our Lenten Season theme "Growing in your daily walk with God through Christ" and, after the Bible, she'll also use our Lenten book, George Wehby's outstanding "The Lion Heart Warrior". Amanda's sermon today at both worship times will be a great encouragement in Christ just like Jesse Gomez's was last Wednesday.
