"As water reflects the face, so one's life reflects the heart." - Proverbs 27:19

Another translation of today's verse from Proverbs 27:19 is "As water reflects the face, so others reflect your heart back to you."

This is what I hear in either translation: It's Saturday. Take a walk. Wave at some people. Call out to strangers with a "Hello!" Practice your British accent. Be silly. Lay on your back, and count the clouds. Set up a lemonade stand, and give it away for free. Go to Krispy Kreme, and buy two dozen donuts, and then go to Tony's Hot Dog Shop in Pelham, Alabama, and get a Giant Cheeseburger "all the way." Go into a pet store, and bark at the cats. And chirp at the fish.

Enjoy life. Life's too short.

Spread the love, and a lot of it will come back to you. What doesn't come back to you is clearly needed by the one's who couldn't return it, which is satisfying in itself.
