Day of Praise

We, 12/11/13, "Day of Praise"

Genesis 12:2 - "And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing."

God told Abram that God would bless him to be a blessing. And God promises the same to you and me. We are blessed to be a blessing.

Blessed - Would you believe me if I told you that my daughter, Calley, took her very real transportation need to the Lord on Saturday night and that she got a text the next day, asking if she was interested in a little car that might as well have dropped straight from heaven?

Okay, so I honor that you don't think that God works that way, but let me ask you, "Who do you thank when an unexpected blessing comes your way?"

To be a Blessing - So I walk into the awards and engraving store to pick up
one of our memorial board additions. There was this customer who clearly had every reason to lose patience. But he didn't.

When somebody mentioned his smiling attitude, his response was "it's not me! It's Jesus in me!"

Ah yes, we are blessed to be a blessing!
