Three crosses have been placed between the sanctuary and education building. The middle cross, the symbolic cross of Christ, is ready to receive the burdens and prayers anyone would like to share. You may do so by bringing your prayers and pinning them to the middle cross anytime. You may also share them with a staff member or contact the church office, preferably via email at office@ctkbham.org or 205-988-5004. All prayers will be posted for you. On Easter Sunday, prayers will be removed and replaced with flowers, as has been our tradition, with the flowers both representing new and vibrant life in Christ and also this year colorfully reminding us how God hears our prayers and responds to our prayers with refreshment for weary souls.
Welcome to Holy Week -- Monday, 4/6/2020
Holy Week mid-day sermon with Riverchase churches
Today is from Pastor Chris with Christ the King Lutheran Church
Please join us in stopping to pray EVERY DAY at 7:14 am and 7:14 pm and pray and act in accord with this command of God from 2 Chronicles 7:14 — "...if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Spread the word!
